ever since I swapped my motor, my oil light takes 2-3 seconds before it turns off once I turn my car on. I am not too concerned with this, but I know it used to shut off a hell of a lot faster.... any ideas as to why it takes longer now?

i think its only bad if it stays on.

 

my own theory is that it has low oil pressure when it is first started... but none of my other cars have done this

 

yes you have low or non oil pressure at start !? not good knowing that ! cause what about when you drive ?? maybe it is 2 low there as well !!

 

no, it never comes on again.... just at start up..... Bugs the **** out of me....

 

My car does the same thing.
