The reason why I dont like blackouts is because they smooth the tails...

look at it from a safety standpoint. when you "smoke" your taillights you make it harder for others to see your brake lights and tail lights and they could possibly not see you and BAM your rear ended.

The VHT spray is made so that the light is easily seen when you apply the brakes. That's why it's called "taillight spray paint", and not "spray paint". Just don't apply 10 coats.

Heres somewhat of a comparison, the black Si is mine and the blue one is owned by a friend. I used a product called Foliatec and it came in a spray can which I bought from Manchester Honda, http://www.manhonda.com

I think it looks good smoked not black, don't make it too dark.
