What he said but why do you need someone to tell you when to shift? You should be able to feel when the power falls off. No one is going to be able to know with out driving your car when to you should shift.
The car is not done yet, will be monday. And no i don't need someone to tell me when to shift. I just remeber the engine in the old car pulled till 8200. and wanted to make sure that i was right on my original 8,000rpm shift point, so i can keep the shift light at the same rpm as before.
And i don't want to find out when the power falls off by destroying the engine. If it can't take above 8200 it is not going to get it. Trust me. prolly only see 8k. it is a daily driver and i have like $1,800 into the car(including the swap), That would be a waste to ruin all that money

You probably won't be making power up pass 8200 anyways so don't worry about destroying the engine. If you want some cheap insurance get itr outer and portflow inner valve springs. You can probably pick them up for under $200. I take my car up to 8500 and its still running strong and it too is my daily driver.
