I just heard on BBC that due to Legislative problems regarding Cigarette advertising, there will be no F1 race in 2004. That really sucks because we go there every year

So, Quebec is trying to secede from Canada and alienating F1, why don't they just go colonize the moon and call that Quebec?

Wow, thats really sucks! And they just moved the USGP to June 20th next year to coincide with all the teams being in North America. Odd.

Yeah, I hope they realize they are making a mistake, They have been racing there since like 1967 or something. The race has sold out the last few years as well. Maybe they are just saying that to get something out of the other side... That weekend is great for Monreal's economy as well

Well, if they can drop Spa (which is stock full of F1 tradition) this year from the calendar that certainly proves that no event is sacred.

I'm sure Canada will be back soon.

 

Wow, been there for 14yrs and now comes to an end. Oh well, I guess My girl and I will go to europe to see F-1. I can't stand USGP with all the hicks hanging around and no night life.

I think there is one in China next year? I cant recall for sure.


And hicks, who cares? Id stand in a fire ant bed to hear those screaming V10s anyday. Besides seems the hicks are greatly outnumbered by non-americans IMHO!

There will be new races in China and Brunei next year and the Belgium race is returning...

Yeah, I dont understand that part either? Ferrari, BAR, and Jordan do not run with tobacco livery here b/c of tabacco ad issues, and many other tracks. Why cant they just do that?
