friend has GC coilovers just lying around and I would like to buy them off of him

The coilover are from a 91 Civic

I need them for a 97 Civic

Another issure may be that the sleeves are for shocks like tokico/kyb/ stock
And I need them to go on koni yellows, I know there are koni specific sleeves
Any reason why they wouldn't fit on knoi yellows if I use the spring perch instead of using the just clip on the shock?

the 6th gen is heavier than the 5th isnt it? wouldnt that make for a little change in spring rates? or is the difference in weight negligable?
