I pulled out all my interior to do an alarm install and run all new speaker wires and what not. I got called into work right in the middle so I was not able to do anything (could not do any install or put anything back). So for the past week i've been runing around with nothing but door panels and a driver seat and let me tell you, you hear every little rock that hits you. Also you hear everything else, like the fuel pump and every other little noise the thing makes. Here are some pics:

Puhlease, you still got the carpet in!!! Get that out and you'll hear the tranny gears as they whirl around....

And the dash too! Get that thing out... hehe...

But your car will haul *** when you are done...

How about a nice sub box with four 18" dual voice coil subs in there. hehe

I did not have time to take the carpet or door panels off. That is what I was working on when I got called in. I could just image it with out any of that. You should see the looks that people give me as they drive by in the SUV's and look down and see nothing but a drivers seat. As for taking the dashboard out, I was going to do that so I could put the alarm brain deep inside, but man, that is way to much work. Plus I am going to put it all back together so i dont want to start ripping stuff out. For the stereo system, I've got a 6 inch JBL sub that rocks and that is all that is needed. I'm going to replace the stock speaker and speaker cable. That is it, I dont want to add 200lbs in stereo equipment.

Hey Craig!!! I was gonna ask the same thing...when I was in your car, they didn't look purple, but they CLEARLY look it here...what's up w/ that???

 

crap digicam...or just bad color settings on it

 

crapy digital camera, when ever it uses its own flash it washes everything out. I could have corrected it with PS, but did not feel like wasting the time. It is stock black interior.

whats that beam that goes over the fuel pump behind your back seat for?that is what i always wanted to know

 

It's to support your car in case of side collisions. (forgot the official name for it) Without it your car's sides will squish if hit from the side...

 

I dont think so, that piece of metal is so flimsy. I mean i bent it a little bit just by sitting on it. I think it is to protect the wires going to the fuel pump.
