Exactly... sorry man but those beam patterns don't look very good.
So did you actually find some H4H rebased HID bulbs or did you rig them to fit somehow?

yep
companies selling HID that isnt properly shielded and/or beam pattern corrected causing tons of glare and unused light..
funny thing is.. after i made those glare shields for my friends civic, the light on the ground was the EXACT same as it was before, i just got rid of all the scattered yellow light and glare off the trees and out of peoples eyes.. now all his light is concentrated on the ground and onto the right hand sidewalks and road signs.. not to mention eliminating all that extra yellow makes it look like an SLK at night approaching you..
on this headlight, there is no HID shielding at all.. notice how the light is reflected off every portion of the reflector, especially the bottom half which is responsible for upward light which goes right into peoples rear view mirrors or right into oncoming traffics' eyes..
now on this one, i made coke can shields to get rid of all the unused light that reflects from the bottom half... also, most kids complain about the yellow in the HID.. the shield took care of all that.. shielded HID kits =

i need to get better ground light pics, but this one gives you an idea.. there is no glare above a certain point, all the light is on the road.
