SI people ... Sunroof problem
My sunroof drops down 1/2 or 1/4 inch too soon as it closes which means the back of the panel hits the roof and it won't close entirely. If I give it a push it closes ok... and tthe opening operation is smooth also.
Also I have recently removed the entire "tray" to replace the cables and two of the rail stops. So I know quite a bit about the operation.
Are there any adjustment points? I have disected the thing and havn't found room for adjustment anywhere!

I've replaced my sunroof (only the glass) and from what I remember there were shims for the glass to metal brackets in all 4 corners.
From what it sounds, you're opening mechanism (the thing that slides and moves the glass up) needs to be looked at.

There are no shims in my set up. I have a metal sunroof that has two front brackets that mount down in front, and the rear of the panel is controlled be two sliders which are pushed up from the tray. Then the sunroof slides along those until open.
I know its hard to picture so I'm gonna try to snap some shot over the weekend.
