Ok just got my car dynoed by looking at the graph i make all my peak horsepower at like 8300 rpm. but i can rev the car way past that if needed but power starts to die off. Now for drag racing where is the best place to shift at i have a Y1 cable tranny. DO you want to shift past where you make power so next gear falls closer to where you make peak power or do you want to shift right to the point of making peak power?

 

well how quickly does ur power drop off after 8300? 8400 or 8500 would be ur best bet most likely
