Default HID install last night.

Well I installed my HID's last night and it took all of 15 minutes. It was very easy to install and I must say, they look damn nice. I drove for about an hour last night and on main roads, they dont make much of a difference because the road is allready lite up with street lights. But on roads with no lights or on the turnpike late at night, wow what a differece. Also, I only used 15 amp fuses and I turned the headlights on about 15-20 times yesterday (they look so kewl when they fire up ) and I have not had any problems with blown fuses. Only concern of mine, is the way the driver side balist mounts. It is not very secure and I feel that it might not stay on there too long. I am going to make up a bracket to hold the balist flat this weekend. I'll get some pictures of it and post it up.

I, my gf was running late, so i figured i'd see what was involved in throwing them in. Nothing to it, so I decided to do it while I waited. Yea you should defently check them out. They are realy blue when you first turn them one, but then they become pure white, realy nice. I'd like for you to drive my car down the block so I can see how bright they are coming down the road. It looks like they cut off just a bit father down the road then the stock lights, however, everything around is lite up like the middle of the day.

Mine's firing up great also. Good buy IMO.

AP- what fuse are you running now? I'm using 15A until it blows (if ever).

I picked up a 5 pack of 15 amp fuses (I was going to get some 20's also, but they were sold out). Like I said up top, I fired them up about 20 times and the fuse seems fine. I do have the 3 other fuses in the car though, just in case you know.

Ditto, I've got 2-15A, 4-20A and even 2-10A (for the stock bulb which I keep in the glove box).
