it is suppose to be polyurethane rubber right?? but the 23mm rear sway bar bushing i got.. feels... no wait... it is pure solid plastic and feels like 0% rubber. It's a solid unit.. and doesnt feel like it will has any kind of rubber in it. If i were to use this bushing, to me, it would function the same as pretty much bolting the sway bar directly to the subframe.. since this bushing is solid plastic. anybody else have any other opinions on this. the bushing part number i got was from http://www.suspension.com part # 9-5127

polyurethane and rubber are 2 different things. The whole point of using poly bushings is that they are much stiffer than rubber, deflect less, and don't wear out since they are a synthetic material and not prone to deterioration like natural rubber is when exposed to the elements.

i have had ES motor mount inserts, installed master kits from Energy suspension, and they all feel.... flexible... unlike these sway bar bushings, which i can almost certainly say it feels pretty damn much like solid black plastic. even sounds like it too..
well, make sure you grease that stuff otherwise you will have squeeking problems.
I almost went with lca polyurethane bushings but was dissauded from doing so because of the nuissance issues that the individual i asked described to me.
If you're that worried about them then get the OEM rubber bushings, otherwise what's the problem?
