Differences in Tein Products?
I have a site that lists me more than the typical RA/HA/SS/FLEX products taht they sell. The ones that interest me more is the N1, the RE/RS line and the HT/HE line.
Any information on them or why people don't get those and stick with the RA's?

A lot of other kinds of Tein sus setups don't fit Honda's. they make a line for Wagons and other specific types of vehicles.
pricing is also a big issue.
n1 is 2k+
and the others fall around that price range also.
but you have to remember that some of the people drive their cars to places outside of the track too.

Damn, $2000+ is bank.
But yeah, most people don't really need any heavy-duty suspension setups. A driving instructor I met at my local shop told me he sees tons of people invest all this money into their suspension, but the money's wasted because they can't even overdrive it (put it to its full potential). This is why I stick to my "plain old" Koni Yellows with lowering springs. It's not the best setup, but it's good enough for my driving skills. Sure, at the time I could've invested in something much more track oriented, but I doubt my skill would ever increase enough to actually put it to good use.
My next "mod" is the Skip Barber 3-day racing school with my older brother.
We're just trying to find a date that will fit our schedules.

But there's a lot I haven't heard about like:
HT/HG/N1/RS/HE that do apply to my 6th gen civic.

RA's are about a 400 dollar difference. Since you're paying that much anyways, might as well go "all the way," unless there is something significantly different, like RA can be streetable and N1's can't.

I would like to upgrade the driver (me) too.
I plan to go someday, because it looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah, from what H-T members have said of it in the AX/RR forum and from the description on Skip Barber's website, it seems like loads of fun PLUS informative.
I don't understand why more people don't invest in some type of performance driving school. Tons of people invest soooo much money for suspension, but they don't even know what adjustments will do what to the car's handling, how to correct for a spin, or how to find a racing line. It doesn't even have to be a top of the line school. There are cheaper ones around my area, but I'd rather pay the money to learn from the best. I want to learn how to properly use the equipment I have than to waste money and pretend I'm a much better driver just because I have expensive crap. Skip Barber 3DRS here I come.
