Supercharger or Turbo... anyone????
Hello!!! I have a 96 GSR and I'm really thinking about forced induction. The thing is I don't know which route to go. I was thinking about Vortech's supercharger or Greddy's turbo kit for the GSR. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.....
The best advice I can give you is to go to the forced induction forum instead of the integra forum. You will find answers there.
It all depends on what kind of power you are looking for with your car.

like he said what are your goals? if you just want something on the street with a little pep putting 200+whp to the floor then go with greddy or a JRSC. I like greddy because i believe its a true bolt on kit...everything bolts up exactly where it should.
But if your plans are to put 300+ to the wheel then common sense says that it might be harder with a greddy kit. GL and read around the Fi board...you will learn alot

My advice is do a search on "Turbo vs Supercharger" Read, read , read, you will learn so much form the search archives. Then go to FI forum and make a thread on any remaining questions you have.

I would go with a supercharger. There's power at every rpm, but there isn't as much power potential as there is with a turbo. For drag racing, go turbo. For anything where you want more power anywhere and everywhere, go with a supercharger. Oh, go with the jrsc, cause vortech is just an engine-driven turbo, with good peak numbers, and that's about it.
