Default Greddy GSR setup

How does this set up sound i am thinking of getting all this stuff this week, I dont have anything as of yet... here we go 1996 Integra GSR

Greddy Turbo kit 96 GSR
Greddy big intercooler set up kit
Greddy type s bov with steel flange
Greddy turbo timer (used for 1900 or new for 3200)

Thermal 3in turbo exhaust (used for 330)

What else do i need and would you go used on the turbo kit and related parts, they are supposed to have 1500 miles on them...

Let me know what you would change and what ever you need to offer..

I will not consider anything other than a GREDDY turbo kit...

I saw a Turbo Magazine article a short while ago with a turbo GSR runnin a 9.5 psi with the front mount and it only made 213 whp....Im not sure if that was a bad motor or what but they were talkin about it as if it was supposed to make that much. You might wanna do some research on that kit before u put ur hard earned money into it...

If its the Greddy kit then you might need an aluminum flange and not the steel version. The charge pipe for the Si kit is aluminum and you cannot weld steel to aluminum.

Greddy kit netted me mid to low 12's with a stock block at 111.11MPH on my GSR with about 12-13psi.

Don't forget the boost gauge! Also, get some one step colder plugs. BKR7E-11 will do fine. Remove the restrictor plate on the filter pipe that restricts the air flow to the compressor and get a muffler shop to fabricate you a test pipe replacing your cat converter.

As long as the used kit is pretty complete, I'd get that instead.

Anyone selling a boost guage, and what kind would be the best for a street application with the set up that I have...

Also i wont need a boost controller with the greddy blue box correct..

Thanks for the info !

Is there anything else that i should get in the near future.

I am planning on getting the Greddy Power extreme 2 very soon.

Will it be usefull to retard the timing, of should the blue box cover all of the setps for me...

BTW Thanks DB8GSR you have been a big help, and i will know who to turn to when I have questions

Larger diametered downpipe and catback exhaust.

It's always a good thing to retard the timing about a degreee or two. Stock 16 degree is still on the safe side since you'll only be boosting 7psi. Also, fyi... the blue box only controls the injectors, rpm readout as to when the fuel needed to be dumped and the map sensor.

not to put down greddy but ive used a greddy kit before and wasnt to please. for 3200 you can get a drag kit **** for 2900 you can get a drag kit and that will smash on any greddy kit. my boy has a greddy kit and its pretty fast but it lost to my other homie that has a sohc drag kit. just my two cents. here a pic

im running that much at 8 lbs... I should be getting 250 but my stock cat and small pipes on my side mount intercooler are holding me back. Sounds like a garbage article, but then again, im running a hondata.

.ZeroB18C1T: im running my feed line in the same place you are, did you ever have any problems with it like that? I want to move it, but I don't know where.

I ran 12.8 on my 18g Sohc. I'm not evening getting 100% exhaust flow because it's B series manifold. Anything is fast with good tuning, though I didn't really tune that setup.

I'd take a Greddy kit over a Drag kit any day of the week.
Get a greddy EGT gauge while you're at it, and tap the manifold before you bolt it up......and like I tell everyone, Boost = , but Boost + Hondata =
