Help Me get my car cranked....
Ok I just did the headgasket on the car and it has sat for a while during which time I have had to do other things. Well I went ahead and retimed it while I was putting it back together. Well I finshed up everything and went to crank it...And no starty. Rotates but will not start.
Wires in right order at dizzy.
All grounds hooked up.
Double checked timing.
Getting spark.
How do you check for fuel?
And if the main relay goes bad will it sound like it is clicking and doing funny sounding stuff in the inside of the car like after you try to crank it? Please help I would like to have this thing on the road this weekend.

At the dizzy? I just put it right in the middle for now and then when I get it started I will retard/advance .
Ohh and BTW I have a inline fuel pump which is wired to my stock fuel pump wiring so I know that it is getting power. I can hear it.

when my main relay went my car made a clicking nosie it sounds like you might have a fuel problem, when you put your car is access do you hear your fuel pump prime?
check your intank, check your fuel filter see is any gas is getting through, if youwana double check run compressed air through and see how easly it flows

Alright I will check all that out tomorrow.
I know fuel is getting though the filter cause the inline runs between the fuel rail and the filter. When I pulled the ?return? line off the FPR fuel spewed out of the FPR side. The other end not the vaccum nipple.

OK I will check that out. But isn't there suppost to be fuel coming out of the line going to the fuel presure regulator? The line coming from the tank goes too the FMU then to the FPR. No gas came out when we turned it over.
Well I got it cranked!
I swapped out dizzy with my GF's and it fired up. The damn TB gasket is leaking..(shouldn't have tried to reuse it
) But ohh well it runs. Thanks for all the ideas.
