OT: Pics of the new family hauler (Yes, it's a Honda!)
Just figured I'd post a few pics of the new family hauler. It's definitely no R, but it is both extremely practical and comfortable especially on long drives. The car also handles surprisingly well for its purpose! I realize I don't have to give my endorsement on this car due to all of the awards it has received, but I strongly recommend it to anyone who needs a practical, roomy car.
BTW, we bought it at Flow and had a great experience doing so. Looks like they may be doing things a bit differently now. (For the ITR-NC folks
)

I like it a lot...that is what I wanted for the daily rider, but my girl really wanted an SUV...so that is what I ended up getting...of course they always win.
nice... it's a 5-speed, eh? I would've bout an automatic if it's a family boat.

hehe, you guys are too much!
Pat~ the cat will never see that leather
It's funny, but we actually looked for a black one at first. The silver is quite nice though, and it's neutral which doesn't attract attention! Yeah, that's the only negative I have on Flow, they won't "dealer trade" for you. Meaning, they won't look for a certain color, model, etc for a customer.
Cosworth~ as Pat said, the car is surprisingly fun to drive with a stick.

Those leather seats look pretty comfy.
Our family hauler might be going bye-bye soon. We have a 2k Jetta and it's just not enough room. Will have to go the SUV route. Used this time though. Maybe a 95 or so Blazer..............

James - DO NOT GET A BLAZER!!! I know someone who bought a used one and it gave them nothing but problems and cost them a boatload of money. If you are looking to get an American SUV get a 96+ Explorer. My mom had one before the Rustang and it was a decent car.
Jason - I guess I'll be the first to ask, what kinda mods do you have planned for the Accord? It's obviously a 4-cylinder since it has the stick. So what do you have in store for it?
BTW I'm honored that you kept the "beefcake" in your sig.
Now other people are calling you the Big Beefcake and I started it all!

I agree....got a 99 EXv6 sedan back in october of 98. very nice car without question. I might have choose a few others over it...but i stuck with honda and its been great. comfy, powerful and very roomy. the v6 has *****. all 2.4 4cyl at one point were made in japan..not sure about now. my v6 is american made(sadly). I can't complain...its been a great family car.

Jeff:
Nice pics of the Accord man. I like the Accord too, it can actually take bumps, and has A/C too....unlike my Integra...
silver and White are the Hottest colors for that car

Can you still get white Accords with the blue interior? That's what my '93 was, white over blue cloth. LOVED that car. I really shouldn't have traded it in
Pat~
I'm pretty sure the Accord with a white exterior is offered only with tan or white interior now. As far as mods, I have to keep quite in case the future wife sees this, so... absolutely not! No mods, never...heh heh

Future plans for mom's Accord are simple, an AEM or Injen Intake and an Apexi World Sport Dual exhaust
We were also considering an Odyssey and the CRV, but the Accord seemed the sportier of the three. I tried to push for the WRX Sedan 5-speed, but my mom blatantly refused.....she probably knew what I was up to hehehehe

A V6....I know of a certain company that's doing prototype work on a supercharger kit...someone that also produces a kit for the NSX and the S2000...looks nice.
