please help me, my car is running like ****, its rumbling so bad, it sounds like its misfiring, and I have a code 3.5,14,15...what can I do to fix this?

 

3 and 5 is for MAP sensor, make sure your MAP sensor hose goes to the male plug sticking out of the top of the throttle body. I have no idea what the other codes are off the top of my head.

 

my zc wouldn't even start with out the map vacuum line installed, do a search and look for how other people solved these issues. make sure the map sensor is plugged into the harness, maybe even check some voltage readings on the map sensor itself.....good luck

 

Code 15 is your ignition wires @ the dizzy, try switcing the 2 white wires, if that doesnt, work you could have a bad coil, ignitor.... I think that code 5 could be crank angle sensor, that and the MAP code will put you into limp mode....

would the fact that my map and iac sensors were for a dpfi setup and not a mpfi setup be the reason why they don't work?

Nope, PM5 and PM6 MAP Sensors are identical from what I have seen. And what is IAC? You mean IACV? The IACV/EACV from the DX doesn't even bolt up to a MPFI car from what I have seen so I'm not sure what you mean.

 

I reseted my ecu and the map codes went away, so I took it for a short drive and came back and the codes came back, so I reset my ecu again and the codes go away....whats goin on?

 

try a new map...if anything check all the wiring make sure there is nothing like dirt or something making the connection bad, try a new map sensor from a friend, try a different ecu, who did the wiring is the next big question
