Default H22A or H23?!?!

ok guys, my H23 has 142K miles on it and i think its starting to run on its last leg, but anywho. i was thinking of rebuilding my H23 or going H22A? does anyone make forged pistons for my H23? would my stock rods be ok for high 200-low 300 HP on nitrous?? i plan on camming it also, i just need to know if anyone amkes aftermarket pistons and if my stock rods will work. i dont really see the need of blowing $2300+ on a motor that makes 30 more hp.. help me out!

The stock rods will most likely bend. JE makes pistons for the H23.

I am building the crap out of my h23, basically b/c I already have a the motor and I found a built head for cheap. JE, Arias and wiseco all make pistons for the h23, Crower, Manley, Pauter and Cunninghamm all make rods for the h23. And do the the larger combustion chamber on the h23 head you can make some nice numbers if you toss in some cams with a wild lift and duration

"...make some nice numbers if you toss in some cams with a wild lift and duration"

more duration will degrade your performance in a turbo setup

True, I am going all motor

You can run much higher compression with after-market pistons, but you can keep the factory FRM sleeves if you run the type s ones
