How do test if coilovers are blown?
I recently adjusted my suspension to make it a tad softer, 3f, 5r, and thats Going from Right and counting down to 11. for the rear.
My car feels bumper. It might just be mental, because i dont have my radio to keep me entertained, but is there any way to test.
BTW, they are Tein RAs

honestly, i dont really notice a difference when adjusting the damper on the ra either. i think oil will start seeping out if they are blown but i am not sure. i was driving on blown stock shocks awhile back and on the highway my car was all over the place.
Compress the rod into the piston and see if the rod bounces back to its equilibrium position in a nice and smooth way. Also check for oil leakage.
im curious myself if you can find out somehow with the shocks still on the car... and if i recall correctly i couldnt compress the RA shock myself when they were new and off the car.

Follow your car down the road, when it hits a bump does it absorb the bump w/ minimal bouncing or does it hit the bump and keep bouncing? If it keeps bouncing they're probably blown.
