Default Changing Oil Pan Gasket...

First attempt in changing it...is it straight forward or a b!tch to change. When i attempted the mail oil seals, i was in for a shocker..is this going to be the same...

any hints/tips/guidance...thx


Havn't looked at it yet...but i'm sure it's not as easy as "taking pan off changing gasket"..haha

thats all it was for me. the engine was out of the car though but that shouldnt make much of a difference.

You have to take off the exhaust downpipe to get enough clearance to remove the pan. If you can get the downpipe off, you should be golden for everything else.

Spray the **** out of the bolts with PB Blaster, and let it sit overnight. If they're really bad, you may have to use some heat to get them out. Use a big *** breaker bar if possible. You're going to need leverage.

Edit: 93AccordEx, the downpipe makes a world of difference unfortunately

What he said... The downpipe needs to be unbolted and pulled out to make some room...
