Default Such thing as better brakes shoes for drum brakes?

Hey all. I know for the older cars/trucks with drum brakes there are a couple of manufacturers of performance drum brake components, does anyone make anything for our Hondas? I think I'm getting close to the point where my drums will need serviced and I'm just checking into possible upgrades without going all out for a disk swap. Thanks,

Greg

Poterfeild makes performance drum shoes, but if you're really looking to get the most you can out of your brakes, upgrade to discs.

Thanks for the replies.

I had a quick look for Porterfield on the 'net and found a bit of info. Were your R4-S shoes expensive?

Many thanks,

Greg
