Header-Tech Header & Exhaust Fitment???
Hey guys,
My Header-Tech header will be arriving today and I will be installing it sometime this weekend.
I will be receiving the 3"-2.5" reducer along with it so I can match it up with the rest of my exhaust piping.
From what I"ve read this will not be a direct bolt on so my question is would it be better to install a test-pipe/flex pipe or even a resonator between the end of the header and the start of the exhaust?
I would like to have the car a bit quiter than it is now but I don't want to sacrifice much in terms of power loss. Will a high-flow resonator do the trick?
Can someone lend me some advise please, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have to run a cat since we don't have inspections here in Canada but I am just trying to keep the car as streetable as possible.
It is a daily driver and I am trying to keet the noise to a reasonable level?
Does a flex-pipe reduce back pressure as it is not a solid piece of metal?
Anybody have any comments about simply installing another high flow resonator?

Some resonators will hurt flow others won't. They aren't all the same.
If the collector doesn't incorporate a flex joint then you better use the flex tube or you will crack something in time.
