I get this awwful screeching noise everytime I start my car. It will disappear after driving on it for a couple for of minutes. Looks like it coming from the front driver side of the car. Anyone experience this problem before? I have a 90 4DR Integra LS. Please advise.

 

have you checked the belts?

 

I had the belts, pump, head gasket replaced a few months ago. The noise is only there when I turn on the engine.

So now after they've had a few months to stretch, you ought to adjust their tension...

 

Im no mechanic but sounds like its your belts.Oughtta adjust em

 

i had the exact same problem. turns out my alternator belt was too loose. i jus tightened it up and problem solved! jus check all your belts and make sure they're tight.

 

I had the same thing, almost. But it was coming from my brakes. It just finally went away.

 

same prob w/ one of my belts... tightened it up... no more probs...
