Default Tapping charge pipes for BOV, Wastegate.

Will I be able to tap and weld barbs into my charge pipes to run my BOV, and Wastegate lines to? I heard it has to be from the intake manifold but wouldnt this work?

its much easier to tee off a vac line from the intake mani and if you have any spike or creep problems you'll end up wanting to use the mani anyway and then you'll have two holes to plug up.

Tapping the manifold with barb fittings will give you the most accurate readings and pressure/vacuum for your bov, boost controller, and boost guage.

Go to home depot and get some 1/8npt nipple barb fittings. Then get yourself a 1/8 npt tap and tap your intake manifold and screw in the fittings. Its that easy, no welding required. Don't forget to use some teflon when you screw in the fittings into the manifold.

A lot of people have done this including me.
