Default b18c bottom w/ b16a head.

Anyone out there have that combo. Anything I need to be warned about? I decided to ditch the ls/vtec route in favor of the gsr short block. Anyone with a gsr short block pm me.

hmm according to C-speed's calculator, a B16A head on a B18C1 block, that still has B18C1 pistons, would only yield a 9.8:1 CR (stock B18C1 is 10.0:1).

A B16 block and pistons w/ B18C1 head yields 10.4:1 CR.

my homie has this setup.. well he will... he has all the parts and he's just waiting to put everything together.... he's running the same specs as his homie and it put about 300 to the wheels...he's using all spoon and toda parts... except for his mid compression eagle pistons... by the way he gave me his used spoon b16a valve... anyone wanna buy it???

your not gonna get 300 whp out of an all motor with that setup... thats nearly impossible to put 300 horses to the wheels all motor with that set up... your lucky if you get 200. Im running a b18c1 block with ctr pistons, b16 head ported and polished with jun 2's and jun valve train, tuned with hondata and have all the boltons, i/h/e... and i only put down 209 to the wheels

That sounds fake, you can't get 300 to the wheels with that set-up.

As some have already mentioned, the compression (or lack of it) is one thing you should at least be aware of.
