Default how do i know i need to change rear calipers?

When my ebrake is on & I get into & out of my car, the rear brakes squeal really bad. There's no noise coming from the rear brakes when I stop though.

Are my rear calipers getting siezed and are in need of a replacement?

It's a 94 with 150,000 miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner and I've owned it from 35K on. The calipers have never been changed so is it time for some "newer" ones.

thanks much.

check your pad wear. if it is close to the wear indicator, pads are in need of replacement. Although, when you get in and out of the car only??? Kind of odd....i could see when you get into the car after a wet night outside but not getting out. Check your pads and see if your rotors are glazed over

rotors & pads are fine, changed them about 3K ago. no noise while braking only when getting in & out of car.

I'm gonna try to adjust the ebrake cable to see if that does the trick.

How do you know it's your brakes and not something in your suspension?

Does ebrake hold the car in place when you park on an incline ?
Do this test-
at low speed, try to stop the car with ebrake.
Any noise from rear brake?

I tend to agree with earlier post saying the noise is from your suspension.
Have someone duplicate the noise by get in and out of the car while you're listening at the wheel.

I had the same problem. Everytime id get in or out the car my suspension would give a lil creak. All i had to do was play with my coilovers. Now it dosent make the noise. But for future refrence you'll def know when ur calipers are out. When my fronts when out it was loud and annoying. and it was while driving.

it wasn't the ebrake needing adjusting.

i guess it could be the suspension. have my skunk2 coilovers & koni yellows to put on whenever i get a chance.

if it's not the suspension then I know it's the calipers.

it's not the rotor or pads because i just changed those 3K ago.

if it'll stop raining my suspension will go in this weekend.
