Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to replace a spun rod bearing at an ASE certified shop???

its actually a 7MG non turbo supra engine..1986.5

 

Well assuming nothing else got scratched/broken and you just want the mechanic to take it out of the car, open it up, replace the rod and piston,machine the cylinder walls, and put everything back together and running.... my guess is $1300-$2500 depends on the guy. Also he is going to be in there, he might as well change the water pump, oil pump, oils seals, bla bla bla
