Default Type R motor ......

do I need pistons and rods with Toda spec C's????

probably not...but you will need a stand alone ECU program and a FPR and cam gears...etc.,

No you don't NEED pistons and rods for the SPEC C's the R enternals will be just fine

They will work, but lack the compression to bother w/ C's on a stock motor.

The bottom end will be fine, but youll need to massage the head if you want to take full advantage of those cams...

Very true. I've seen a couple dyno plots of C's on stock bottom ends. You will actually have more usable power with your stock bumpsticks on a stock bottom end. Its the sad truth.

stock bottom will be fine but you can make more power with higher compression, but as for the head, you should upgrade valvetrain and etc 2 take the spec C's.

a nice, mild porting could benefit that set up...

yea i am definately building the whole head....with all toda!! how much wheel horsepower do you guys think i will have with a fully built head and a really good tuner/??? also basic bolt on's, and computer.
