Default Installing seals

What do you guys use to install your front oil balancer shaft/crank seals? I have lost my damn seal driver tool and the local parts store does not have any currently in stock.

Use the old seal on top of the new one. Then just hammer it in.

The old seal will take the hit, and the new seal with go in smoothly.

Ok the oil seals are back in place. One question, on the crank oil seal i have gently tapped the seal back in place. Should the oil pump casing be able to freely spin when touched? Or should it be somewhat 'non-spinning' but easily able to spin when the crank is inserted in it?
