I have an H23a1 in my 93 hatch, and figured you guys would be the ones to ask. I have a strange constant rattle from the engine. I think a crank balancer may be loose, so I'm gonna check it out. If this is what it is, and its loose can I fix the problem? If so, what is neccesary to fix it? If I have any other comments/questions I'll be sure to note them.

just to let you know the valvetrain on the H series motor are loud,, constantly ticking
could be that? Also, on the H23 the crank bearings are a leading cause of engine failure.
