be carefull for a while though one you get it in...you never know how long its been out of the original EF9. I got my motor and blew a rod the 2nd day...it was a bad motor though.....luckily they gave me another block...the second block i broke it in for about 500 miles just to ensure that the internals are thoroughly lubricated.

but after that....off to the street races...cheers

That is true. You don't want to start blasting around with JDM motors. Remember they've been off for like 1-2 years if not more right. You'll want to run it for 500-1000 KMS. to ensure a proper re-brake-in as we call it.
