Ok i have a 95 dx coupe witha 95 gsr swap but im pulling out the gsr and i just bought a dx longblock from spoonsportsjunkie here on h-t.
I want to make sure i have everything......
OK so the clutch is installed already right? Is all i have to do is bolt up the tranny right?

Here is the tranny, little dirty and rusty, just been sittin for a few months...ill clena it up, i got this free froma friend it didnt grind and ran finei already took the remnants of the clutch out...Im confused i rebuilt my motor but i dont know ish about trannies or clutches....Do i need to do anything ecxept bolt it on..?

Whats missing off of this? i remember takin soemthing off of it but i forgot what, sorry guys im retarded....


Also im not sure if i used my stock engine harness or the gsr, im guessing the gsr....(i got my swap done by a friend before i knew anything, well i still dont)
Can i use the gsr harness when i put the dx in or do i buy a dx one?

Also can i use the mounts that are in the car right now that are holdig the gsr motor in to put the dx in or what ones will i have to get that are diff....
HELP ME OUT GUYS IM STARTING MY SENIOR YEAR THURSDAY AND I NEED MY CAR AT LEAST BY NEXT MONDAY

 

it looks like the clutch is still on the motor, and still on the tranny. I would pull the one off of the tranny (it is just chillin on the input shaft, looks like,) and use the one that is still bolted to the long block.
The starter goes in that hole on the tranny.
Can I gave your GSR? whan you take it out?

Yea i went back and edited and said i took out the clutch outta the tranny and cleaned it up some so theres no rust...so all i would have ot do is bolt the tranny on? no aligning or anything?

 

Also, can i use a 95 civic ex engine harness? or do i HAVE to use a dx harness.

I think the harness will work, it seems ot siton everything.... but what about the mount situation? What mount will i need?

 

Your gonna need to use the stock D series mounts... You cant use the B series one. How much you want for the VTEC head?

Dont you use a couple of the stock mount when doing this swap, i cant remember....

The only ones you can keep are the upper and lower tranny mounts number 5 and 14. Sorry if that sounded like it was the other way.
