Is there a pcv valve in a '92 CIV VX?
yes there is PCV and EGR on the d15z. both are related in reducing the emission levels of harmful substances not so much in aiding in better gas mileage.
was the ecu reset after the installation of both parts?
how do the plugs look like?
type and octane of gas used?
any other tune up done (distributor cap/wires/timing)?
have you cleaned in and around the TB area?
how do you drive and what type of terrain and conditions?

RE: was the ecu reset after the installation of both parts?
I am not sure. Should I remove the battery cable for a couple of minutes to reset it (not sure)?
RE: how do the plugs look like? I will have to check them out. There is a sputtering in the engine I have noticed at slow speeds and low rpms in 2nd, I thought that might be a fuel filter or something like that.
RE: type and octane of gas used? 93 octane
RE: any other tune up done (distributor cap/wires/timing)? I am taking it in to the dealer on Thursday. They suggested that I get the valves adjusted to help the gas mileage.
RE: have you cleaned in and around the TB area? No
RE: how do you drive and what type of terrain and conditions? Some hills, but mostly flat. A friend of mine that lives in the same area has a VX and he consistently getting high 30 to 40 mpg compared to mine at just 30.
Do you think a tune up / valve adjustment will help me get 10 extra mpg?

Installed new plugs, rotor button, ignition coil.
I am going to have the valves adjusted tomorrow. $75 bones from the dealer
If anyone wants to know, I will give an update and hopefully some MPG #s by this weekend.
