this is a post Fi question, which means my turbo kit is in my room and I am installing it after I work out the kinks in my car. your turbo guys are more knowedgeable than the other people so this is why I am asking. ok I have a hatch with a b16a. its acting wierd, when I go into high rpms 7000 to 8000 it starts bogging and pinging and on the air/fuel ratio gauge its leaning out a few lights over. I am not sure what to do. please help.

 

well for starters dont drive it often. check for vacuum leaks and get it tuned b4 its too late and stop driving it at all . Only when you need to,to get it tuned and drive slow and easy. Thats my best words of advise to u.

 

I dont think you understood the question. its still n/a at high rpms it leans out and starts detonating. its a stock motor, and I have a vafc. could an exposed wire on the o2 sensor cause this, or mabe a loose one because my air fuel ratio wire is kinda hack job.

Your not kidding about working out a few problems, solder those wires and seal them up properly. what ecu are you using? Have you done a tune up lately?

 

my car runst perfectly now! its all fixed!!! and now its TURBO!!!!!lol hahaha. I am boost happy.
