Help with JDm 4-1 Header and Test pipe install
Alright, finally this Sat. I am putting my JDM 4-1 header and test pipe on, but want to know if there is anything special in doing it? I have the gasket for the JDM header to the test pipe, so is that all I need? Just put it all on? Any suggestions??
Thanks guys!

You may need a three bolt gasket and bolts for the test pipe to your exhaust.... and also maybe some longer bolts for your factory springs to attach your header to cat convertor.
No idea what it tapers to but I bought it from god (dan) @ godspeed motorspots and he said it would all install fine. guess i will find out.
Chris, we always go to pro-dyno...they are good guys and know whats going on with tuning....When you get back into town let me know and we could take a run by there. Later, Mark.

Pro Dyno is cool - but doesnt have an A/F Meter (as far as know)
Ive been to Street Flight which has real good prices and an A/F Meter...but you basically gotta do your own tuning.
Technodyne also has an A/F Meter now but they are a little more pricey.

U can put all the stuff on, but it will sound like a tin can going down the street, because of the 2.5 to 2.25 connection.

Evil GS-R,
Why will it sound any different with a 2.25 exhaust?
I'm also about to install a test pipe to my 2.25 Comptech exhaust ....
