Default power loss with my apexi n1 ??

alrite heres the deal, i got a rsx type s and i run at the irwindale 1/8 drag strip regularly.

when i ran my rsx-s with hondata 4, aem cai, stock exhuast my time was 9.42@77.6mph

when i ran my car with hondata 4, aem cai, and apexi n1 full cat back my best time was 9.46@75 mph....

my traps average to about 77 mph everytime with the stock exhuast and when i got the apexi n1...i never touched 77 mph.

RELAX! he's right , check all of your work after you have drivin it for a spell...and remember, the weather, the launch, alot of things are going to give you a diff. result. don't just think because you had a bad run(or two or three) that your exhaust choice was a bad one!! so come on, lighten-up

bad day? how were weather/road conditions? i doub tthat an exhaust would make you slower, if not faster. MAYBE a leak

alrite....just went to a local muffler shop to get my gaskets changed...they said the gaskets i had were crap which probably caused a leak...so got new gaskets in..hopefully solves my problem.....thanks for your input honda-tech members

when you put on the cat-back you lost torque. Because when the K-sereis motor's b-pipe is enlarged then you loose torque but gain horsepower.

you probably lost some lowend power. If you ran it at a 1/4 you'll improve your time there. but on a 1/8 its too short so your car doesnt have time to get to the top end.
