botched oil changed

i was changing my oil and in my haste i forgot to change the oil filter

will this cause any damage? am i safe until my next oil change?

i use mobil one 5w30 and fram oil filters

ur fine..

actually... just let the car sit for an hour or so so it cools... u can still remove the old filter and put a new one on.,.

I've heard that changing the oil without changing the filter is redundant

change that filter!!
