confused w/ hondata clutch switch!! help!!
for the hondata clutch switch, is the button on the switch susposed to be pressed in when the clutch is pressed to the floor or is it susposed to be left out when the pedal is pushed completly in? if it's susposed to be left out when the clutch is pushed in, can i just take out the button that makes sure the clutch is pressed in to start the car and replace it with the hondata clutch switch? i'm installing one in a crx and i don't know where or how to mount it. any info is appreciated.
thanks...
thanks...
When the cluth pedal is not pushed down the button should be inside the switch. When you push the clutch in the button comes out of the switch and engages 2 step/full throttle shift. I mounted mine in my cruise control switch bracket.

This is what I did too. I also mounted a switch to turn it off when driving on the street because it gets annoying!!!

how did you wire up your DPDT switch for the hondata for the clutch? I also used the lower clutch sensor and wired up the switch, but for some reason when I have the switch on, I can't get the car to rev past the full throttle shift point unless I turn off the switch.
