Default 3rd gear grinding???

I'm having a prob with my 3rd gear engagement, and it grinds when I shift at above 3k rpm or sometimes if i do it really quick. Could this be a sign of bad synchro? It's fine when i shift slowly and below 3k but that kinda suck.. I can't wind up engine and shift above 3k.. To add to this dilema, I have a DC sports shortshifter. Do you guys think it might have to do with my DC too? Help.

GM Syncromesh= , stopped my 1st to 2nd grind when I bury the needle. Shifts way smoother too. Part #12345349, trust me it works.

Where can I get this GM syncromesh tranny fluid? I used Honda MTF all the time.

Sounds like GM had a pretty good review from few h-techers..
