5th Genners with F-Max Kit..what DIY's were made to make it fit??
The main problem that I ran into was that the turbo would not go in with the manifold on together. My freind somehow got the manifold and turbo in and got stuck..took 1 hour to remove. The turbo was hitting the fan, pretty badly. Now I'm hearing that I have to cut the motor mount bracket now, from another f-max owner..doesn't sound so safe, because the oil return outlet is hitting the bracket.
What other things are there that need to be done? I didn't expect this to be a problem, because I didn't have instructions nor did I read about any of these problems with f-max kits on the boards..
Thanks

you just have to shave some material off of the front motor mount, you dont have to like cut it away or nothing.
Okay, so if I cut away at the motor mount, it should clear the fan housing right? I need to know how much to cut away...i don't want to weaken the motor mount bracket either...
my previous turbo kit had came with a motor mount that was hacked away to make the turbo clear...no pics sorry.
is that the only thing that needs to be cut to make the turbo actually fit? No cutting the fan is involved right?
