brake pedal goes to the floor, minimal stopping power, help!
I just bought a 400$ eg coupe primarily for the shell to swap my h22 in, but it has a problem.
The brake pedal goes damn near all the way to the floor everytime when i brake. At 1inch from the floor is when i finally feel the brakes working, poorly, but working. I havnt inspected anything yet becuase i just bought the thing. The pedal isnt spongy when i press it (no air bubbles) unless it has soo many bubbles its that bad. The car has 180, i did a search, seems to be like master cyl's go out on a lot.
Obviously first thing would be to check for leaks, i know the resevior is full right now. After i check for leaks, im going to bleed the brakes and see what happens.
---anyone have any advice? i know this is a guessing game for the most part, but your input/knowledge always helps.
thanks to all that help me out!
