Default Blurred License Plates

I have posted a few pictures on the net and have not blurred out the license plate.... Is this a jackass move? or what? I figure, people see it every day.... what does it matter if 1651651651654654654 people can see it via the internet???

sorry if this is a stupid question.
thx

not a dumb question at all... most people on HT are not theives... but there may be a few lurking here and there.. but your car is so unique it'll easy for them to spot it.... I did see u @ fry's yesterday... I'm like I know him from somewhere then I remembered your the one who bought my mudguards off of me

if a thief is smart and wants your car, by the license plate number he will track your car and see where its registered and steal it. It's actually a commen problem.

also if you post up bling bling engine shots and the plate number thieves are more inclined to go after it since they know theres money in it for them.

people that see your car on the street dont know what you have unless you tell em

Cool (not really for me) thanks Now I know, and knowing's half the battle! go joe! That is what I had assumed, but figure mine is so easy to remember and potential thieves see it every day you know? Plus it is garaged at my house, and registered to a different address than where I live

ur set then dude, get that gps alarm system that thing is pretty sweet. they tell you if ur car is leaving the area. You can put like a radios around it. You should look into that. I heard its 700 to start it and 14 buck sa month. Which if you have alot of mods on your car is so worth it, its like insuarance

You could get a low jack weld a extension to a oil resivoir and set it in there. The theifs would probally take it also if ya make it out of some polished alluminum. Just when ya put it in there get the one with the battery. Not the one that runs off the car battery. When ya call to notify the lojack people they can turn it on remotly. I seen them installed in peeps speaker boxs, and under the shell of fake amps at security shows. They'll even call the cops for ya and ussually find the car in 30 mins or less.

Perhaps we should blur the license plates to the general public, when we go out and drive our cars on the streets?

I doubt people are stealing cars because of stuff they've seen here.
