installed turbo timer..having problems now
i installed my SARD's jdm turbo timer. i turned off the car and the car stayed on, but it would never turn off. did i hook up some wires wrong or something?
i hooked up the wires to the ignition.

that means its working . The purpose of the turbo-timer is supposed to keep the car running until the turbo is cool enough so it wont damage the car. So that the turbo wont damage and get warped it lowers the level of heat little by little. Cause if you shut the engine off the tubo will be off and sometimes the turbo gets hot and if you shut the car off the turbo can warp . And if you try to boost while its warped bad combination something may fall of or push in the wrong amount of air and boom.
So not to worry its fine well it should be just stand next to the car and time when it goes off. Im not sure how long you left or timed it for.

i turned on the car and let it idle for about 20 seconds. i set the tt to turn off in 40 seconds. when i took out the key, the car stayed on, but it would never turn off. i waited for over a minute and the car still stayed on.
i disconnected the red wire from the ignition wire that i hooked it up to, then the car turned off.
then i would touch the red wire to the ignition wire, and the lights would come on as if i had the key turned foward. the red brake light would come on and my seatbelt light would come also.
any ideas? i hooked up all the wires, red, blue, green to the ignition wires and the black wire to a ground.

i hooked it up like the pic in the above thread. so when i touch the red wire to that ignition wire, some of the insturmental lights will come on and stay on with the key out of the ignition. when i turn the car off, the car will stay on and won't turn off. then when i disconnect that red wire, the car will turn off.

why would it come on when i hook up that red wire to that wire off the ignition?
should i run the red wire to my battery or somewhere else besides that ignition wire?
my alarm activates by itself a few seconds after the ignition is turned off and i close the door. do you think the alarm has something to do with it? maybe some wire from the alarm is tapped into that ignition wire where the red wire goes from teh tt timer?

wouldn't having the ground wire and the red wire hooked up to a 12v constant be just like hooking up the black and red wire to the battery, therefore causing it to turn on?
okay...i think cause of the alarm i have...hooking up the red wire to that ignition wire that its supposed to go to causes problems. where else could i hook up that red wire to? what fuse in the fuse box could i use?
