My brother told me he got best results from launching his B16 CRX at 6500 rpm on slicks... Your times aren't too bad for a basically stock LS either. Just practice.

Try launching a little higher, like 7000 rpm. And lower your tire pressure a little. Just keep practicing until you get a combination that works. My best time in my LS CRX is 9.78 at 73 mph on crappy street tires. So I'd say you can get those times down to like 9.2-9.3. Good luck

With a stock ls swap in a 1900 lb car and slicks you "should" be low 9s out the door. My heavy integra gsr ran a best of 9.4 all motor on streets in the 1/8. Well that was with I/H/E. Just launch the hell out of it. And a 2.1 with slicks is not a good 60'. Most can get that with street tires. Some have even hit high 2.0s. My best with streets is a 2.1. You should atleast be in the 1.9s with that size slicks.

RT's have nothing to do with your ET.

My friend with a 94 LS (header/straightpipe/exhaust and GSR tranny) ran a best of 10.0 on normal crappy Falken Ziex. He was launching at around 3500.

You should be running better than that....
I have a LS motor in my EG hatch, just bolt-ons, LS tranny and on street tires..here's my best:

2.310 60' (i've managed to get a 2.2 60' in another run-with the same tires)
9.685 1/8
75.12 1/8MPH
15.025 1/4
93.22 1/4MPH

I'm sure if I were on slicks or drag radials i'd definately be in the 14s...especially with the 93mph trap! My Jimfab traction bar is on it's way and purchasing some slicks or radials soon...hope to hit much better times....
