NHRA RULES
Time to set everyone straight! NHRA for the last 52 years has devoloped and refined many, many rules. most of which are designed to aid in the saftey of those in competition.
I personaly have lost a friend in a drag racing accident, as a result the crash was looked at to see if there was something that could be done to help save other lives and there was.
Many Drivers have walked away from crashes, and have lived to see there kids grow up, do you want to see yours do the same?
I do not have the power to ban cortney from NHRA National Events or other NHRA Tracks unless he breaks the rules here again. The Race Director of Las Vegas Called me Monday Morning after the race and asked me about him. he stated NHRA may take action since he was warned once then still broke the rules after being warned. Untill we get a letter from NHRA stating that he is not allowed, he can continue racing at RMR.
I have never critisized Cortney for his efforts! How many times did I turn my back? and not write him up or ban him while he was trying to get the car tuned and save $$$ to have a cage installed.
I have been personally offended being told that I give him greif because of the cars I have built that is B.S.! the cars are not even in the same class!
I am a Race Car Chassis builder my job is to build race cars, for anyone! just because you dont come to my shop, means nothing to me! if you are faster then the cars I build then they better buck up to try and keep up.
I enforce the rules to help keep you safe! not be a a$$ hole! So come on lets play by the rules and live to watch our kids grow up!

As far as it goes at this point, Cortney's is the Quickest and fastest Street legal Civic here in Salt Lake...

i think Andrew Tran is the fastest NHRA hot rod car in UTAH.

Joe Housley is currently the fastest Honda at RMR, Andy Tran has only been able to run mid 10's in Salt Lake. Joe is also running only a turbo on race fuel, not alcohol and no NOS.
Andy has run faster at other tracks on alcohol but he has also had the car a little longer than Joe. Joe's 1st national events were Vegas in March & July.
