Default Is this accord worth buying?

It it worth buying then selling for some cash?

1998 Accord Sedan LX. Body is in good condition. The tranny is out, possibly the motor too. For $3000?

1998 accord for 3 grand?? the trans and engine doesnt work?? wow..a good reason to put a h22 in there dont you think?? a h22a swap would cost you 5 grand max...maybe...you have a 6th gen h22 accord for 8 grand...that is still cheap!

i would never buy a non-running car. There are always more things wrong/missing/f-ed w/ than you know or it appears to be.

More trouble than it's worth esp. if your going over $2k + $$$ parts

This was my friends dads car. He just drives it to work and such. Never abused. How much for a replacment motor? I just wana try to fix it and sell it for a little profit. I need money to fund my Rb25det project.

IC...just the tranny then. I think rebuilt honda trannies are ~2k+install but don't quote me on that.

Engine's gone too?? How many total miles on the thing? Was there some wierd powertrain accident/loss of oil?
