ok i feel stupid for asking this but i bought a t4 housing and matching compressor wheel for my saab t3 to make it a t3/t4. the guy i bought the housing off of thinks its a b housing but not sure and i cna find that out easily. my real question is: what is a dynamic backing plate and what is a carbon backing plate? i just want to get the one that looks like what is fitted to the t3 compressor and get on with it. pictures of each type or even one type would be a huge help if possible. thanks so much for the help.

I believe t04e housings have 6 blades, and t04b's have 7 blades.

 

alright well that helps some...anyone know what the difference between the backing plates is...mine definately needs to not be flat it needs some clearance or atleast the t3 had it this way origionally. ttt
