I just got done painting a car Uranium Green and added a gold pearl in the clear, it came out really cool. I always wanted my CRX black but I'm starting to think it will be too plain. Since I getting Rota Group N's (Black w/ Red Lip) I thought it might be cool to do Black but add in Red Pearl to the clear coat. Has anyone ever seen what this comes out like? I think it might come out pretty cool.

Awsome, from what I imagine it will look really nice. My friend says he's seen a white car with red pearl and it gave the white a really cool effect.

 

My friend had this done to his Civic... Sadly tho must of the time the car kinda looks brown

some of the honda blacks have red pearl/flakes in them if you look for them

i'm not into colored pearls in paint jobs, but that looks pretty nice.

 

pearl is awesome....my bro in law has white with blue pearl and it looks very nice

 

I think I'm going to still go with the black / red pearl but use a little less than a table spoon per quart of clear. This way it will have more of the black but still give it some spice.
