Default are B18B cams better than B18A's???

i have a 90 B18A motor, and i have found someone that has some B18B cams for sale cheap. wondering if they would have a noticable improvement. btw this motor will be boosted (10psi) if that makes a diff....THANKS

The B18B makes 140hp, while the B18A makes 130hp. The blocks are the same, so the 10hp has to be due to the head, stuff connected to it (ie manifolds), and/or the ECU (if it's different). It's my understanding that it's mainly the cams, but I can't say for sure.

I doubt there's much difference. B's have a more square shaped combustion chamber than A's which gives it a better squish area. Why not just go for an aftermarket set.
