Default Electrical or Mechanical gauges...please help

Hi guys!!! I'm in need of a few gauges, and I don't really know what the difference is between the electrical and mechanical types. Which one is better or recommended? I already have a oil pressure and boost gauge which I bought along with the turbo kit.

I just bought a dual pod so I'm gonna buy a A/F gauge and I don't really know what other gauge I should get. An EGT gauge perhaps? Please give me any advice on whether I should go with a mech. or electrical gauge and what other gauges are needed that would help monitor the engine conditions.

Go electrical, and don't waste your money on an A/F gauge. Mechanical fuel pressure or mechanical oil pressure in the cockpit is a no-no.

yup electrical is the way to go, they keep all the sending units and lines in the engine bay so all you do is runs a few wires into the cockpit.

Mechanical guages for instance a Fuel pressure guage, you have to run a fuel line INTO the cabin and hook it to the back of the guage. NOT safe for a street car.
